SPGS International School Chengdu, located in the centre of the Hi-Tech district by Jincheng Lake, is a co-educational day school offering expatriate families a complete British education enhanced with the best elements of Chinese culture and global learning. It is the first overseas school opened by the world-renowned St Paul’s Girls’ School (SPGS) in London. Since the school was founded in 2021, SPGSI Chengdu has successfully obtained global recognition as a member school of the CIS International School Council and was awarded the ‘Best New School in China Award 2022’. Additionally, it has also been accredited by the Cambridge University International Examinations Centre and authorised by the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

Currently, our professional and dynamic academic team is comprised of 56% staff from overseas. All the tutors and subject teachers have recognised UK teaching qualifications (PGCE or QTS) or equivalent. They also have strong UK teaching backgrounds and a detailed understanding of the English National Curriculum. They come from all over the world and gather in Chengdu because of their recognition of SPGSI Chengdu’s value. With the support of the school, they live and work happily here and continue to develop themselves professionally; They are knowledgeable, full of enthusiasm for education and practicing the value of holistic education at SPGSI Chengdu.
