晟珀戏剧夏校全英语授课，关注的不只是舞台表演技巧，更重视学生在创造力、自信心、沟通能力、团队协作和领导力方面的成长。

所有老师拥有扎实的戏剧与英语教学背景：Keon 老师 深耕戏剧创作二十余年，Laura 老师 活跃于香港英语剧场，并持有 LAMDA 八级表演金奖及 TEFL 国际英语教学证书。

在他们的精心指导下，孩子们在动静结合的氛围中，记了单词，学了表演，交了朋友。短短一周里，我们看见他们对故事与角色的好奇，对团队合作的投入，也看见他们在舞台内外逐渐建立起表达的勇气与自信。

On Site: Singing, Dancing and Acting in Motion; Reading, Writing and Listening in Stillness

For younger children, drama is often a natural gateway into English expression. Through stories, role play, voice, physical movement and emotional expression, children begin to understand English in a playful and meaningful context, and try to respond, express themselves and interact in English.

In this summer’s Drama Camp,

the 4–8 age group explored the world of Peter Rabbit. Through basic blocking, stage directions, cues and role play, they began to build stage awareness, English responsiveness and early expressive habits.

The 9–12 age group worked towards a final performance of Oliver Twist. Starting with physical expression, they gradually incorporated movement, plot, mime and English dialogue, transforming the written story into expression on stage.

When in motion, the children sang, danced and acted, using their bodies and voices to step into character. In quieter moments, they read, wrote and listened, developing their understanding of characters and stories through texts. In this balance of movement and stillness, English was not just being learned — it was being used.

Stepping into Stories, Stepping onto the Stage

This week, the SPGSI Chengdu British Theatre and Creative Writing Summer School came to a wonderful close amid applause and laughter.

For the children, the final performance was more than just a show. It was a moment for them to bring together everything they had learned throughout the week — language, movement, character, emotion and teamwork.

This summer at SPGSI Chengdu, children will continue to sing, dance and act in motion; read, write and listen in stillness; step into stories, and step onto a stage of their own.
